Portrait of a Lady

September 20th, 2006 · 2 Comments

I produced this documentary along with my family back in 97 when I was in college at UNCG. I was fortunate to get credit for this as an Independent study. My family helped set up the interviews and helped rent the equipment for the shoot. I edited the film at GCTV, a public access television station that serves the community in Greensboro, NC. It was a straight cut only editing bay…it worked. Reva was 93 when I shot this film. She is now 102, how I love my grandma. Sit back and enjoy this film about a Lady and her charmed life.

Your Grandmother seems like a very wonderful lady. It’s great that you took the time to do this and your description about your recent visit with her was very touching (made me call my grandmother that day). Anyways, enjoyed this and am checking your site regularly. keep up the good work.

She is great. Thanks man, I actually told her about the kind of work that you do and she just smiled away and clapped, she absolutely loves the independent spirt.
