Firefox 2.0 Problems

October 27th, 2006 · 6 Comments

ffI’ve had it. Firefox 2.0 keeps freezing and crashing on me when I browse. Has anyone else had an issue with that? If so and you want to go back to 1.5.0.7 you can download it here.

Update
It seems that Firefox has fixed their problems with 2.0, by now I’m on 2.0.3 and working great.

That is a great function to restore where you left off before it crashed. It would be even better if it didn’t crash as much. My brother said that 2.0 was updated and fixed the crash. I’m sticking with 1.5.0.8

Thanks Andy for that link. I am going to use it. I keep getting an error that says something like ‘…encountered an error and you need to sign off firefox and restart’. Then I am blown out of firefox back to my desktop. Only 2.0 version does this. Back to the old version I go.

Being stuck in the 18th century (bc), could someone give me a brief pro-con of firefox?

Being stuck in the 18th century (BC), could someone give me a brief pro-con of firefox? Does it involve a helicopter?

You are not seeing a repeated comment post. You made it up in your head, and are insane right now.
