Brett is crazy talented and yet one of the nicest guys that you will meet. He was named one of Filmmaker Magazine‘s “25 New Faces of Independent Film” in the summer of 2003. He is currently working on his next documentary “Rocaterrania,” a new documentary feature about the secret world of visionary artist Renaldo Kuhler.

–Really enjoyed this (& look forward to your recent interview with the ‘War Tapes’ soldier/filmmaker. I mentioned your segment with Deborah at a recent interview for Liv w Geeks. The non-’geek’ spouse is a freelance writer who just ended an assignment to Ramadi (reporting for the Weekly Standard if memory serves). He garnered amazing reports regarding a Seals unit & expressed interest in ‘War Tapes’ and also your interview with Deborah. –Hope all is well in your world.

Jill,
Your site is blowing up with videos, thats great. Could you send me a link to that interview? Have you seen Alive in Bagdad? That is an amazing website, those guys have some serious balls to do what they are doing and I hope I can get the chance to interview them. What’s next for you?

Hey Andy,
That Alive in Baghdad is mind blowing. If you get their interview – it’s champagne to you from us in DC! That’s great they’re in your pipeline. Drat…that discussion about your Scranton interview & “The War Tapes” occurred off camera during the getting-to-know-yous upon my arrival. If you’re interested in his reporting specifically, he’s here: http://www.fumento.com. Thanks for asking about next steps. It’s been fantastic & motivating with projects with local new media groups in progress. A southwest tour is in the works (fingers crossed) for ‘geek’ interviews this spring. What’s your favorite project these days?

Hmmm, My favorite project, I’m struggling at the moment to find free time to get a project off the ground. I’ll keep you posted, thanks for inquiring. I have so many ideas, things that I would like to start up and get off the ground, but I don’t know where to begin. I think I’m going to do what you did and start a conversation about my ideas… whether I actually get to do it would be great but I’d rather see people take the idea and make it work. I’ll keep you posted.
Good luck with your doc, and enjoy every moment of it. It looks like a fun flick.
