I was driving to work this morning and I heard a story on Marketplace Morning Report on WUNC that reminded me of where I wanted to be this morning.
The National Conference for Media Reform is the hot spot in Memphis, Tennessee. I was planning to attend this year but financially I just couldn’t pull it out of my wallet.
I got turned on to these forward thinking people when I interviewed Craig Aaron of FreePress.net. Once you go to the site and read the material you get upset about what is currently happening with our mainstream media and the corporate involvement to change the internet. It makes you want to be a part of the movement to bring the media back to the people and protect the rights of every individual on the internet. Check out the schedule, and see what the conference means to the future of media. Good luck to all the attendees and I will be there next year.
