ConvergeSouth Film Festival Looking For Sponsors
As this being my first film festival that I’m organizing, I’ve come to the realization that it would be great to get some corporate entities to ally with the festival. What kind of sponsorship am I looking for? Looking for prizes for the winners in each category. Here are some ideas I have.
- 1 year free rentals from Netflix
- $100 gift certificate from iTunes
- Gift certificate from BH Photo
- External Hard Drives from Seagate
- 25 pack of MiniDV Tapes from Tape Resources
- Donation of Laptops with editing software
- Apple Final Cut Studio 2
- 1 year paid Sprint mobile broadband card for laptop
I don’t have anything lined up yet. But am working diligently to get some fun and cool prizes for this festival. If you know anyone in the biz and would like to donate anything to this event for prizes or if your in Greensboro and would like to donate a place to crash for some of the filmmakers please feel free to email me. We got our MYSPACE page up and ready for submissions.

That’s a good idea. Keep pushing, you will definitely find some eventually. Local places near the festival are good places to try for smaller prizes as well.
