My brother has an amazing non-profit project that he is working on called The People, Yes. Here is a little something about The People, Yes.
More than ten years into this Age of Information, large populations of people exist around the world without either the means or know-how to operate online, thereby greatly reducing their individual opportunities to participate in a wired, networked, global economy.
Just as important (if not more so) as community conversations move from town halls into the online space, these same men and women become sequestered from political, topical and personal conversations that shape their neighborhoods, towns, cities and districts.
The People, Yes, is in competition with other non-profit organizations for Netsquared?s Technology Innovation Fund. This fund will help The People, Yes, get off the ground quicker and help move this project forward. I ask that all of my readers head over there and vote for this important community project that has the potential to mold into any community across the globe. It starts here in Greensboro.
My brother is an amazing person that has compassion for all humans especially the ones that get overlooked. He is the main reason why I blog. Without his guidance there is no way this blog would up. Good Luck Sean.
