April 19th, 2007 · No Comments

Hey people if you got some free time tonight I highly suggest you tune in or Tivo the Military Channel tonight at 9 PM EDT to catch one of the top documentaries of last year, “The War Tapes.”

“the single best document (book, film or article) you could see” on the war in Iraq - John Fisher Burns, the New York Times’ Baghdad bureau chief and two-time Pulitzer Prize winning foreign correspondent

So tonight tune into:

  • DirectTV channel 287
  • Dish Network channel 195
  • Time Warner Cable in Greensboro channel 109

Last year I was fortunate to get Deborah Scranton to talk with me about her experience directing, “The War Tapes.” Click on this link to go to the podcast.

A few weeks later Zack Bazzi, one of the soldiers in “The War Tapes,” contacted me to correct a few choice words I used in my post. I then asked if he would like to join me in a conversation. He agreed and you can listen to that podcast here.
