  [..YouTube..] I guess when you post a video you have to expect some critics. I think the perfomance was great, singer dead on. My criticism is of the people that nit-pick when they themselves can’t do what you do. They tend to not find a general flaw so they pick out stupid little nuances to make themselves feel good. Most criticism isn’t construtive, it’s said to make someone feel bad and elevate their egos.

Voice quality and tone are on Janis Joplin- I just clicked through several Joplin cuts and found your, and I think the one thing I would suggest you focus on is the pain tracking beneath the surface in JJ performances – Check out her earlier work when she shared for mike time with the guys – Close your eyes and put it all on the line.
