Later this week Michael Bentt, the man who put “The Great White Hope” Tommy Morrison back to reality, has agreed to have a conversation with me. I’m excited to talk to him on many levels. First and foremost I’m in awe of his career. Not solely on his professional boxing career but how he has transitioned it into a successful acting and writing career.

I first met Michael back in 2000 when Jessica Nolfo, a great friend of mine introduced me to him. He wanted to know more about my documentary, “Greensboro’s Child.” Jessica, Michael and I met in a bar near the east village and grabbed a beer and talked about the biz, my documentary and what he is up to for a few hours. I was introduced to a very interesting person and acquired a friend on the way. I’m looking forward to this conversation.
