Battle Of The Bulge Week 4

Damn, damn, damn. Our scale at our house lied to us. It was off by seven pounds. It was telling us we were seven pounds lighter than we really were. So that changes everything. DAMN. Here is how it should’ve gone.


I feel good. I’ve lost 17 lbs in four weeks. Just have to maintain the momentum. I haven’t hit a skid yet. I learned yet another scary fact about my health. I work out at Fitness Today on Elm Street near Lake Jeanette and today around noon a fitness trainer had a device that measured percentage of body fat. Ugggg, I want to know what I’m dealing with and man did it shock me. My body fat is 28.1%. Yikes. I have 180 lbs of lean (fat-free) weight and 70 pounds of fat. That is a lot of fat. So my ideal weight of 200 lbs would be great for me if I maintain the lean mass at 180. 10% body fat would be amazing for me. But since I’m lifting my lean mass will go up so maybe my goal should be around 215. I’ll figure that out when I get to that weight. Till then back to the gym and continue to eat smart.
