NTSC Anamorphic Export Size

August 1st, 2007 · 4 Comments

I’m working with anamorphic 16:9 NTSC mode with graphics. If you are looking to export 16:9 NTSC anamorphic the correct size is 843853×480. No need to go into details how long it took me to figure this out. It’s just nice that I have this blog to document my findings. Geezs…

I stand corrected, thankfully someone smart reads this blog and gave me a nice nudge and asked in a passive manner that I was off a few pixels. Yes indeed Bobby you were right. Although that export worked, I was wrong.

    Thanks!!
It is takingg my clarity of video for the web to a new level… 720×480 compressed to the web should be 422×240 or from a 843×480 Anamorphic export from FCP
    Cheers.

Are you sure you don’t mean 853X480?
