Beantown Opportunity

December 17th, 2007 · 1 Comment

I’m sitting at the Newark airport right now contemplating many things about the next few days. I’m flying to Boston to meet with a well established high end corporate company. They are considering me for a position as a mulitmedia specialist. This is a chance for me to get back in a company and help maintain and help grow their message. I’m excited about the opportunity. But I’m not a single man or living in a rental home. I have roots that are firm in the Greensboro community. These are some of the factors that stir through my mind before I meet my hosts for the next few days.

One thing I’m psyched about it is I will be closer to my parents, my cousins, aunt, Angela’s brother and our niece. Family is very important to me and I am lucky that my brother decided to move to Greensboro a few years back. Angela’s parents live right down the road in Madison and her sister lives in Durham.

Factors in moving will be tough, but this is the decision that I chose to take. This isn’t just about me. But I am open to a discussion and looking forward to meeting my hosts.

Wish me luck.

Give me an email if you have questions about Boston. I’ve lived here my whole life and am in the media creation field.
