I just finished cleaning up and reinstalling all of my software on my G5. The damn machine kept crashing in the middle of ADR production. Something had to change. It took 4 days to do this. I tried to keep as much info and original applications as I could with Time Machine but that brought back the bug each time. So a clean install of Leopard was necessary. At this moment everything is copacetic.
Now it is time to clean up my blog. I purchased a new host server so please bear with me as I transfer my blog. There maybe a few bugs along the way but it should be a better site when all is said and done.
2008 looks like a great year for me and I’ll keep everyone posted on my adventures. Here is a brief list of what’s on tap for next year.
- A new video web series in which I am producing, writing, directing, possibly shooting and casting. More on this next week.
- In talks with a friend who is getting ready to bring my name in the mix for a documentary based in Afghanistan. Not to shoot but to help edit.
- Make myself more available and visible for consulting for corporate clients pondering the notion of starting an in-house production studio.
- Work with my production partners in producing potentially three more feature films.
- Begin pre-production for my dream documentary on the Blues.
- Start sitting in with a screenwriting group in Greensboro. Psyched about this one. Thanks Stephen for inviting me.
- More usable tutorials on FCP, Motion even DVDSP.
I’m going to cut myself off right there before I get ahead of myself. That is a lot of work. But I hope everyone had a memorable New Year. Stop by and say hi. I love hearing from my readers. Make yourself known to me, leave a comment tell me what you have in store for the new year and what you would like to see from me… it helps me create more content.
