Here is a teaser for “War World Dead.” I did not record on this day, my gear was still on route.

Later this month I will be part of the production team on “World War Dead,” (name might change) as the audio technician. What does that include? Me holding a boom pole and monitoring the audio as we shoot. It also means that I will be called upon to do ADR whenever necessary. I cringe doing ADR, but thats why I get paid the big bucks.
It’s not the greatest setup but it will get the job done…
- RODE NTG-2 Shotgun mic
- K-Tek KE89CC Boom Pole
- K-TEK Zeppelin Fuzzy Windscreen
- RODE Shockmount
- Audio Technica Premium AT8314 XLR cables
- Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 Series
- Sennheiser SKP500G2A Wireless Plug-In Transmitter
- ART MyMONITOR Personal Monitor Mixer
- Zoom H4
I’m going to use the Zoom H4 as secondary audio, to pick up sounds on the ground. I’m going to hit record and lay it down on the ground and see what I get.
I’ve learned a lot working on “Dogs of Chinatown,” and now it’s time to use that knowledge towards, “World War Dead.”
