For the next 10 days I’ll be on location in Raleigh, NC working as a camera assistant on a short film. The camera they are using is the Sony PMWEX1, which is sexy and I’ve wanted to shoot and understand how to use this camera.
My main job is to help Jake Starkey, the DP rack focus, switch lenses, back focus, and anything else that he needs me to do. As far as the back focus is concerned Vimeo has a great forum where I can get the information. I’ll also help grip on this production. If anyone has any questions about the camera hit me up I’ll do my best to uncover your query.

Andy - Congrats on the short film gig and chance to work with that Sony. Thx for mentioning that Vimeo group; I like Vimeo and was unaware of that particular forum.
