So I was sitting down with Blake and Micah and we were thinking of a way to get Beat Down Boogie, our next feature, off the ground. First thing for us to do is to shoot a teaser and short film. Next is to fly our actors out to Greensboro for the shoot. That is where we were scratching our heads. We have financial assistance to purchase wardrobe, catering, settings and miscellaneous items. But we don’t have the funds to get our talent out for the shoot.
We thought about asking you, our friends/readers, if you have any frequent flyer miles you would like to donate to our project to help get it off the ground. The reason we are reaching out to the internet is simple. Frequent Flyer programs expire and many of them go unused and they “Fade into Bolivian,” as Mike Tyson once famously said.
Why would you send us your hard earned and expensive miles? Simple, you want to be part of an exciting feature length film that will put American Martial Arts Cinema on the map. You will also get a great production package from us, described below.
We do have investors interested in a couple of projects with us, but we want to show them the wow factor and what we really know how to do best. Which is putting on an exciting showcase filled with some of the coolest martial arts action, stylish characters and unique fighting settings that you will find in American Independent Cinema.

We are also putting together a package for anyone that donates their miles to us.
- A final screener copy of the soon to be sold Dogs of Chinatown
- Posters and other Dogs of Chinatown memorabilia
- DVD of my Award Winning Documentary “Greensboro’s Child”
- DVD of Micah Moore’s Short Film “The Key” and “Ninjas vs. Pirates”
- Sponsorship credit in the short “Beat Down Boogie”
- Opportunity to be on set for the shoot (if you want that)
So here are some of the details for the tickets. We have two actors flying from San Fransisco to either Raleigh or Greensboro (prefer Greensboro) and two actors flying in from Chicago to either Raleigh or Greensboro. This is going to be an exciting short film that we will use to gain momentum and to promote the feature film for Beat Down Boogie. We are going after big names to get this one a theatrical release. I know we have the talent and mojo to get this done. Come and join us on this trek.

I don’t have any frequent flier miles, but I love The Stunt People and this little demo sold me on it. If you can’t find anyone to give you miles, let me know and I’d gladly help pay for one of the tickets.
I’d help more, but I’m one of those wonderfully half employed recent college graduates (yay American economy!)

Becky,
I want to personally thank you for offering to help pay for one of the flights. As it turns out we had to beg someone close to us and make it awkward. But we all appreciate the offer. If you are close by and want to be a part of the crew hit me up I’m sure we can use the help on set.
