Audio Phone Filter in Soundtrack Pro

January 10th, 2009 · 2 Comments

This blog is a giant bulletin board for my mind. I used this filter before but forgot where it was located in Soundtrack Pro. So the web can reap the benefits of my confused brain.

I have two sources of audio that I want to mix together and throw a phone effect filter on it to make it sound like the audio is coming from a phone.

  1. Click on the effects tab and select the EQ in the Category section
  2. Select the Channel EQ in the Effect section
  3. Double click on it and an advanced window will open
  4. On the bottom right side of the window click on the show presets button
  5. Click open the triangle next to the User Presets
  6. Scroll down and click open the triangle next to 07 EQ Tools
  7. Select the Phone Filter Notch and click on the Apply Preset.

Now your audio sounds like it is on a phone call. And now I can remember for the next time I use it.
