Software Review: Abaltat Muse 2.0

January 29th, 2009 · No Comments

muse-logo A great upgrade to the original and a must have if you are a do it yourself professional. I have to hand it to the engineers and programmers of Abaltat Muse…2.0 is an improvement over the original. If you want to read the original review I did for muse 1.0 you can read it here.

What I like about the improvements are pretty simple the Composing is better…more control for you to create better royalty free music. 2 more virtual bands added with Hip Hop and Retro Tech and an added Compose method with Melodic. What does that mean. Watch the video and you’ll get a better idea on how I liked it and how easy it is to use.

Abaltat Muse 2.0 Product Review from Andy Coon on Vimeo.

Granted you have to play with the software for a while to understand which band is right for your video. The more time you can spend experimenting the better music you will create for your video.

They also have tutorials you can access and download files so you can do it at your own speed. Pretty good thinking on their behalf… although they should be posting it on Vimeo.

You can go ahead and download a trial for 7 days. They only give you two out of the seven bands to experiment with. That is plenty to start with. Go ahead and give it a whirl.
