Panasonic Scene Files For Prosumer Camcorders

February 4th, 2009 · No Comments

From Panasonic’s Website

Scene files can change everything about how a camera performs, from changes in frame rate, to complete changes in the color correction matrix and gamma used to create “looks”. There are several scene files offered for each of these cameras, each containing a unique look that can be stored in the camera or read from the camera’s built-in SD card slot. To change a look, you must change the scene file’s parameters for tone and color. Panasonic has done that for you by creating many different scene files for each of these cameras.

If you own any of these Panasonic Camcorders you can download and install scene files to change the way you shoot a scene. The cameras are;

  1. AJ-HPX3000
  2. AJ-HPX2000
  3. AG-HPX500
  4. AG-HPX170
  5. AG-HVX200/HVX200A

I have to discuss this first with my production partners before I download and install this in the HVX200. But if I do I will update this post with some video clips showcasing the scene files.
