Product Review: Crumplepop For Final Cut Pro

May 6th, 2009 · No Comments

Crumplepop is a cool add on to your bag of tools. This is made especially if you are an editor that doesn’t have the time or the skill to make your own lower thirds or overlays to present information. It is real easy to use and comes in HD which means you can use it in any format while keeping the high quality of the media.

There are 7 fonts that you must download and add to your font book before you begin using these templates. There are 353 master templates that you can use over and over again and when used with the right transition it is great. Relax the 353 master templates is a little misleading. Most of the templates use only one font each so there are six more of the same template. That is one of a couple of things I’d like to see in an upgrade.

  1. Is to allow the templates to access the font book so it can allow you to select any font instead of the seven you downloaded from crumplepop.
  2. Is to allow in the controls panel a position selection so you can position the font within the template.

Here is a cool video displaying the kind of things Crumplepop can do in a video.
