Rocko Time

July 25th, 2009 · 2 Comments

I’ve been casted in “Southland Of The Heart,” a Todd Tinkham production. I’ve acted a few times and enjoy it but working for Todd should be fun. I’ve been asked to play Rocko, a clerk in a gas station country store. My role, I get to catch a customer who steals from my store and beat the daylights out of her. Yup, her. This girl is about 5′ tall and weights under 100 lbs and I get to throw her around, punch her in the face and kick her a few times when she is on the ground. Rocko is not a good dude. Rocko is supposed to be a country hillbilly, but when I get angry my Jersey comes out and if my name is Rocko I have to embrace the NJ in me a channel it to my character.

Todd is a fantastic film director and I’m really happy and excited to work with him in any way. Check out the filmographies on his site. Pretty cool.

I saw a cut, you were awesome! You should do more acting.

Thanks Ajit, I really did have fun and for the first time I didn’t get nervous or freak out. I was relaxed and didn’t even notice anyone around us.

There are 2 roles I can play, myself and a big jerk. Still trying to figure out if am I a big jerk and that’s why I can do that role.

Also I would act in anything of yours or Todd’s in the future. Think about that the next time you write a script.
