Every time I need to get away I call my good friend in Swoope, Virginia. Right smack dab in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley. It is about a 3 hour drive and when I arrive I take a step out of my car and breath the fresh country air and bask in the calmness and beauty of nature. His house sits on 3 acres of land and sits on top of a hill that has a remarkable view of the mountains that surrounds the valley. I get comfortable there.
