Got Bugeyes For DualEyes

April 1st, 2011 · 3 Comments

Singular Software has done it again with software that syncs audio with video…perfectly. If you shoot with a DSLR and record audio on a digital recorder this is the perfect solution for your post production needs.

This is only a small sample of what Dual Eyes is capable of. I haven’t had the pleasure to sync a multi-camera edit yet…have footage that needs it in the next couple of weeks so I’ll update how well it does with that.

Go over to Singular Software and download Dual Eyes and use it for free for 30 days.

Here is another tutorial for it…

Hay Andy, thanks for the demo of DualEyes.

However, I’m not sure if I should get DualEyes or PluralEyes. They’re the same price, $149. I guess PluralEyes is only available as a plugin. If I had both FCP and Adobe PPro then DualEyes, as a stand-alone, would be best.

It depends on how you would use them. Which editing software do you use more often?

Out of the two I prefer pluraleyes just because I’ve been using it longer and it is so damn good. But you can’t go wrong with either of them.

I have experimented with both over the last couple months and honestly, I love pluraleyes. To test it out at work we were editing a 3 camera shoot and it has worked great and I plan on doing a 12-15 camera shoot with it next year.
