[Video] March For Peace - Washington DC: January 27, 2007

February 2nd, 2007 · 14 Comments

Last Saturday my brother and I went to DC with a group of like-minded people on a bus from Greensboro, NC. Here is my day at the March for Peace rally held in Washington DC on January 27th, 2007. Interesting, the media claims it was less than 100,000 and the organizers, United for Peace, claims it was close to 500,000. My original guess was somewhere in between, 150,000 to 200,000 people.

This is my first march and definitely not the last.

I was so impressed and proud of your beautiful presentation and comments on the trip to Washington, DC. The concern of the American public was certainly expressed in the interviews. Congratulations!

Good job…take it easy though on the media there…I was on the riser and we asked for the signs that were between the riser and the stage to be lowered…cspan was showing everything live as well…We weren’t asking for everyone to lower their signs,,,just those in front of the riser…

    Good work on your report…

    Scott-

I can’t help it. I’m really upset with our mainstream media and I shouldn’t of made such a blanketed statement. I admire and respect the news sources that go out of their way to report the truth and non-gossip news.

I’ll be paying attention to your site, thanks for stoping by.
