Great thing about having a blog is I can air out some of my ideas. Hopefully my peeps can add their view to help me flush this idea out.

A few posts back I had some ideas for companies to sponsor the film festival. How could a company sponsor the film festival when it is only a 3 hour festival? That is when I came up with this idea. Hold an open bid for each category and the winning sponsor for that particular category will be able to upload the winning film to their website for a certain period of time.

Here is the problem. Right now we don’t have any sponsors, and this is not tied into the rules and regulations at the moment. Some filmmakers may not like the idea. I can understand that, but at the same time I’m looking to give exposure to the filmmaker as well as giving something back to the sponsor. OK sponsors and filmmakers step up and tell me what you think.
